SMMPTA Special Education Committee

The PTA Council Special Education Committee in collaboration with the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District will be holding a Special Education Spring Forum.

The topics this year is Homework Help and Great Educational Apps! Please join the PTA Special Ed Committee on Wed, October 12^th at 7pm in the Board Room of the District Offices to learn techniques to help your family with the homework routine. An ABA trained behavioral therapist provided by AST will give parents pointers to help you and your child with this sometimes challenging part of the day. Also, Miriam Brock the District’s Assistive Technology specialist will inform the group about great educational Apps on the market – some of which are free!
